On the radio is an ad offering to give you $2000 in rebates for simply calling in to sign up for a shopping study. They then want to charge you $19.95 up front for what they call a grocery coupon program that can save you up to $2000. Then they offer more plans with anywhere from free to $19.95 to view offer, and even if you say no, if you gave them your cc info for the $19.95, you then get signed up for other offers. You don't realize it until the charges hit your cc statement, and then no one wants to refund or help you. The coupon deal is a scam also, you pick #'s from a list, and mail the list with a self addressed stamped envelope, and you get standard coupons someone cut out, sent back to you with a note that says, use these on double coupon days, and save up to double the face value. They promise to continue to send you coupons until you have reached $1000 in face value. What a scam. When you try to cancel, they give you the run around, and won't even stand behind the co-offers made. I was one of the few that saved my callers name and ID#, but to no avail, they refused to listen to the recording and uphold my denial of other offers. So far I am out over $100 in non challenged fees.
AVOID this scam at all costs, clip your own coupons for the items you actually buy.
